The tour is fun for tourists and locals interested in finding out more about the area. Meet at the Visitor Information Center. Beerfest & Bluegrass Festival The name says it all! Anyone who loves beer, bluegrass and having fun, should not miss Beerfest & Bluegrass 2010 at Northstar® Resort! The festivities will get under way at 2:00 p.m. in the Village at Northstar™ with beer being served from over 20 breweries through 7:00 p.m. and music from three premier bluegrass bands until 7:30 p.m.

The annual Tahoe Arts Festival cel­ebrates the best in visual and performing arts at the Cal-Neva Re­sort, Spa and Casino in Crystal Bay in North Lake Tahoe. The festival features street painting and other special events including an art­ists’ marketplace and an amateur artist area for children and adults to create their own works of art.

Relay for Life is the American Cancer Society’s Nationwide Signature Event. While primarily a fundraising event, Relay’s theme is to honor cancer survivors in each community and to introduce and/or expand ACS programs and services to local business and organizations. Relay for Life is a positive, inspirational, emotionally-engaging activity. We invite you to show your courage and spirit. Join cancer survivors of all ages, their caregivers, and friends in fighting back against cancer.

Northstar Resort’s Super D race is an endurance downhill race with some flat sections. These courses are typically longer and not as technical in nature as our Downhill Races - testing both a rider’s endurance and bike handing skills. We recommend a full suspension mountain bike. A Tony Award-winner for her performance in “Broadway,” Gravitte’s career has been varied, taking her from the bright lights of Broadway, around the world and back again.
