2015 Spring USA Cycling Regional Downhill Championships

Northstar California is pleased to offer the USA Cycling Downhill Regional Championships where downhill mountain bike riders have the opportunity to gain points toward USA Cycling Mountain Bike Nationals in July 2015. This regional race is open to those with a USA Cycling license. 

The Spring Regional USA Cycling Downhill Championships will be held on our Boondocks DH course. You will be able to ride the park including Boondocks starting on May 22. We will be holding a scheduled practice by category on Saturday, May 30 and on the morning of the 31, practice times TBD. You must be a registered racer with a plate to participate in these scheduled practices. Any practice before May 30 will be on your own and not part of the event.


Race Registration Information

Registration opens Wednesday, April 29 at noon. Please register online in advance on Bikereg.com here.


Race Fee + Lift Tickets

Entry Fees:

$45 (online 14+ days in advance)

$50 (online within 14 days of event)

$60 (on-site registration)

Pro purse add-on: $10 per pro rider 

Lift tickets not included. Racer lift tickets $38 per day and will be offered Friday May 29 thru Sunday May 31 for registered racers only

All racers must have a USA Cycling license to participate; these can be purchased on-site or here.

Online registration closes at 8pm on May 27th

Onsite registration and racer check in will take place in the Northstar Village at the Ticket + Season Pass Office during the following days and times: 

Saturday, May 30 from 9am-12pm

Sunday, May 31 from 8:30am-10am

Competitor List will be posted on Live-timing.com by 6pm on May28th

Gatorade Guaranteed Pro Purse

Pro Racers will each pay $10 with registration. Final Pro Purse Amount will be dependent on total Pro Men and Women.

Men - $500 guaranteed split between 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Women - $500 guaranteed split between 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

**Helmets are required at all times while on a bike.  Format will be a one-run race. USA Cycling license is required. All racers must complete the Mountain Bike Release of Liability prior to racing.


Mountain Bike Race Cancellation Policy

All race registration sales are final. Racer lift tickets and/or pro purse fees are additional costs, if required for the event.
