Village at Northstar Tonight- Bee Movie Time: 15 Minutes After Sunset The Village at Northstar™ will be showing a top selection of movies every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night from June 24 through August 28. Our summer Outdoor Movie Night series is free to the public and chairs are provided. Please arrive in the Village between 7:45 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. for a start time close to sun down. Enjoy dinner and a movie by making a reservation Baxter's Bistro & Lounge or the Chocolate Bar, pick up a picnic dinner from Earthly Delights, burrito from North of the Boarder, or grab a Frog Dog from Euro Snack and kick back and enjoy the show. Village at Northstar Time: 8:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Star Tours Come experience the starry sky above Northstar® Resort! Join star guide and poet Tony Berendsen, the President of the Nevada Science Coalition, for a unique and educational night under the stars. Every tour is as different as the starry skies above however each will include a poem reading, a fun space quiz with prizes, a laser tour of the stars and constellations and a telescopic viewing. Plus, all guests will receive a commemorative flashlight. So bring a child’s curiosity and plenty of questions for an evening of wonder and awe. Due to the group size please refrain from bringing your own telescopes. We'll have two telescopes, binoculars and a Celestron Sky Scout for participants to use in order to get a great view of the night sky! Guests will ride the Highlands Gondola to the top where they'll meet up with Tony at the Ritz-Carlton Destination Club at 8:30 p.m.. From there he will lead you on a short hike to the Lodge at Big Springs Deck with a mountainous viewing site. Following the tour, the group will walk back to the Highlands Gondola for your decent back down to the Village at Northstar around 10:30 p.m.. Tahoe City Historic Guided Walking Tour
10:00am-11:30am Saturdays from May 29 through Sep 4 10am-11:30am. Meet at the Visitor Information Center (next to the Fire Station in Tahoe City) FREE (donations to North Lake Tahoe Historical Society welcome) The popular Tahoe City Historic Guided Walking Tour highlights points of historic interest as well as things to do and places to eat. The tour is fun for tourists and locals interested in finding out more about the area. Meet at the Visitor Information Center. The tour ends at the Gatekeeper's Museum where tour participants receive free admission. Tours are free (Donations to the North Lake Tahoe Historical Society are welcome). North Tahoe Regional Park Run To The Beach 5 and 10k starts at the North Tahoe Regional Park. From the park you have an option of participating in the 5 or 10k distance both of which finish on the "Big" beach in Kings Beach, CA. Kings Beach is a great place to spend your July 4th weekend.

Northstar at Tahoe Skating Rink Lace up your skates and get your groove on in the Village at Northstar ™. Enjoy your favorite music from the 70's and 80's on Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. through the end of August. The DJ will be hosting skating games throughout the eventing and the winners will each get a $25 Northstar gift card. Drink specials at the Cabana Bars. The Event is free. Skate rentals are available for $5. Weather and conditions permitting. Skaters under 18 will need a parent or guardian to sign a release of liability.

Sand Harbor This season you have the opportunity to see all of Shakespeare's plays in one night; as we perform the hilariously entertaining Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) under the direction of our 2010 Producing Artistic Director Charles Fee. Live music set against the magnificent Lake Tahoe backdrop at Sand Harbor is a winning combination, so this year we welcoming back our Music Series. This series was created because we wanted to provide a completely different type of entertainment experience at our beautiful lakeside amphitheatre at Sand Harbor State Park. Get ready to dance in the aisles every Monday and FRIDAY night to everything from the Reno Philharmonic, blues, jazz, Latin rhythm, classic 70's rock, and Soulchestra, beginning on July 12. Northstar Village Beerfest & Bluegrass Festival The name says it all! Anyone who loves beer, bluegrass and having fun, should not miss Beerfest & Bluegrass 2010 at Northstar® Resort! The festivities will get under way at 2:00 p.m. in the Village at Northstar™ with beer being served from over 20 breweries through 7:00 p.m. and music from three premier bluegrass bands until 7:30 p.m.
