Northstar at Tahoe Women's Full Swing Golf Clinics Location: Northstar Resort Golf Course From: Wednesday, June 02, 2010 To: Wednesday, August 25, 2010 Time: 11:00 a.m. Northstar® Resort offers a Women's Full Swing Golf Clinic each Wednesday at 11:00 a. m. at the Northstar Golf Course. These group golf lessons for women are held June through August and last approximately 45 minutes. Clinic Cost $25 per person Reservations Reservations recommended, but not required. Join star guide and poet Tony Berendsen, the President of the Nevada Science Coalition, for a unique and educational night under the stars. Every tour is as different as the starry skies above however each will include a poem reading, a fun space quiz with prizes, a laser tour of the stars and constellations and a telescopic viewing. Plus, all guests will receive a commemorative flashlight. So bring a child’s curiosity and plenty of questions for an evening of wonder and awe. Due to the group size please refrain from bringing your own telescopes. We'll have two telescopes, binoculars and a Celestron Sky Scout for participants to use in order to get a great view of the night sky! Guests will ride the Highlands Gondola to the top where they'll meet up with Tony at the Ritz-Carlton Destination Club at 8:30 p.m.. From there he will lead you on a short hike to the Lodge at Big Springs Deck with a mountainous viewing site. Following the tour, the group will walk back to the Highlands Gondola for your decent back down to the Village at Northstar around 10:30 p.m.. Reno-Sparks Livestock and Events Center The Reno Rodeo is now a 10-day event in its 90th year and is a PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) sanctioned sporting event which brings top professional cowboys from around the world to compete in one of the richest rodeos on the PRCA. Reno Rodeo is a non-profit organization made up over 350 volunteers. Over 120,000 fans will be in attendance for the 4th richest PRCA tour rodeo.
