The Tahoe Big Blue Sprint is ideal for the beginner adventure racer, while still providing a challenge to veterans. Designed for finishing times of 2 to 4 hours, this is a great way to give the sport a try or introduce a friend to lots of fun. The race will begin at 11:30 a.m. from the top of the Vista Chair Lift and will finish at the base of the Big Springs Gondola in the Village at Northstar. The full length Tahoe Big Blue is sure to excite all who participate while enjoying the spectacular views and trails of the North Shore. Designed for finishing times of 6 to 10 hours, crossing the finish line will be a satisfying accomplishment. The race will begin at 8:00 a.m. in the Village at Northstar and will finish at the base of the Big Springs Gondola in the Village. All teams will kayak, mountain bike and orienteer through the course. Following the race there will be a racer BBQ at the finish line with New Belgium Beer.

The Tough Mudder will be held at Northstar California on September 22nd and 23rd 2012. Participants will test their luck in this 10-12 mile obstacle course designed by British Special Forces. Tough Mudder is the premier adventure challenge series in the world!
