For every $25 spent at participating businesses, the shopper receives a sticker on the back of their contest card. Contest cards with three or more stickers to be completed by shopper with name, phone and email address and dropped off at locations listed on the back of the contest card no later than January 11, 2013. Prize drawings will take place the second week of January 2013; winners will be notified shortly thereafter. Interdenominational Candlelight Christmas Eve Service Location: Village at Northstar Date: Monday, December 24, 2012 All are welcome! Join Northstar and Tahoe Resort Ministries for a candlelight Christmas Eve Interdenominational Service in the Village at Northstar at 5:00 p.m. on December 24, 2012. Services will last approximately 45 minutes ending in candlelight, and there will be hot chocolate, coffee and cookies to warm you up while celebrating.

4:00-7:00pm Join us for one of our very special Full Moon Treks through the brisk mountain air of Lake Tahoe's pristine forests. As we travel by moonlight, our knowledgeable guides will discuss Natural History and Astronomy topics. We will also stop along the way to take in the beautiful views and enjoy snacks and hot drinks. Tour is popular with all levels and abilities. Friday, December 28, 2012: 4:00-7:00pm Typical Distance and Time: 2-4 miles. Level of Difficulty: Easy to moderate. Location: Tahoe Vista, CA. Grab the kids and join us for our Family Afternoon Snowshoe Tours taking place at Northstar California this winter season. These tours are a wonderful way to introduce your little ones to the great outdoors in a fun, unintimidating, friendly atmosphere. The tours are open to all ages and will be an easy snowshoe for the whole family. Tours will begin at the Cross Country, Telemark & Snowshoe Center at 1:00 p.m. and will last approximately 3 hours, including rest breaks. Your friendly guide will lead you on a snowshoe adventure along some of our easier trails through scenic forests and alpine meadows. Tours will then return to the Cross Country Center for hot chocolate, cookies, and snow play.

Celebrate with your friends and family in the Village at Northstar! Enjoy live music, ice skating, roasting s'mores by the fire and an amzing fireworks show at 9:00pm.
