Visitors to Northstar can fly straight into Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO), just 40 minutes from the new Village, with over 170 daily flights to more than 42 North American markets, including 19 non-stop destinations and 23 one-stop destinations.
In addition to Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) that is only 45 minutes away from the village, visitors also have the option to flying into Sacramento Airport (SSF), rent a car, and drive in about 1 hour and 45 minutes to the resort.
The San Francisco Bay Area offers two additional airport options, San Francisco (SFO) or Oakland Airport (OAK). From these two airports connecting flights are available to Reno. Alternatively travelers can rent a car and drive to the Village at Northstar that is 3 1/2 hours away via all-weather Interstate 80.

Rental cars are available from Reno-Tahoe International Airport and from Sacramento, San Francisco and Oakland airports. During the winter months, vehicles are available with snow tires and roof rack carriers.
- Driving to the new Village at Northstar is easy. Forget winding mountain roads, Interstate 80 comes within a few miles of the resort.

Start out going East on Lake Tahoe Blvd/Highway 50 for approx. 12 miles.
Turn Left onto Nevada 28 towards Incline Village. Continue for 17 miles.
Turn right onto Highway 267. Continue for 6 miles.
Turn Left onto Northstar Dr.

Travel West on Highway 50.
Merge onto Highway 89 North.
Turn Right in Tahoe City at the T.
