Northstar® Resort Stables are the only stables in the Reno/Tahoe area offering only private horseback rides for beginners, families and nature enthusiasts. Embark upon a private horseback ride on serene trails located in gentle hills thick with pine forest, offering views of the High Sierra peaks.
Our horses are gentle enough for even the most timid and inexperienced riders, and our rides are always catered to your needs and led by an expert guide. For more advanced riders, we have responsive, well-trained horses. Children must be 10 years old to participate in trail rides.
