Fly Fishing at Sawmill Lake
Sawmill Lake is a secluded 10-acre reservoir in a Ponderosa Pine forest, stocked with rainbow trout. Catch-and-release flyfishing is permitted. This is a good learning lake and great for children..
Fishing at Sawmill Lake is limited to 4 rods at a time and reservations are required. Reserve a day of fishing by phone or email. A California Fishing License is required.

Four Seasons Fly Fishing Guides offers guided trips to the Truckee and Little Truckee River, as well as a Boca and Prosser Reservoirs. Fly fishing is available from the end of April through mid-November, weather and conditions permitting. Top-water, nymphing, and streamer techniques are used, depending on conditions.
